Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium

The Iranian Hospital Dubai Successfully held a symposium on Breast Cancer Awareness yesterday, May 21, 2016. It was attended by her Highness Dr. Al Quassimi and the members of Business Professional Women Emirates. This symposium is one of a kind and it has been done with the help of Her Highness and Professor Firouz Darroudi.

Professor Firouz Darroudi, the director of Centre for Human Safety and Health and Diagnostic Genome Analysis explained that this is one of the most comprehensive genetic services provider in the region. The purpose of genetic tests conducted at this Lab is to early detect not just breast cancer, but also to identify the chromosome abnormalities, inherited gene mutation and can confirm a suspected diagnosis of a disease or even predict predispositions to future diseases.

Some of the members of Business Professional Women Emirates visited the laboratory and gave their blood for analysis after the symposium.
